Amazon cut at least 100 white-collar jobs in its robotics division as it continues restructuring, even while expanding its warehouse robot fleet and AI spending.

Qualcomm, which purchased microcontroller board manufacturer Arduino last year, just announced a new single-board computer that marries AI with robotics. Called the Arduino Ventuno Q, it uses Qualcomm's Dragonwing IQ8 processor along with a dedicated STM32H5 low-latency microcontroller (MCU).

It comes shortly after Qualcomm launched a processor under the Dragonwing brand name designed for robots.

Richtech Robotics (NASDAQ: RR) stumbled into February dogged by a scandal and the legal issues that arose from it. Sentiment on the robotics company, already negative, didn't improve after it published a disappointing quarterly earnings report mid-month.
